E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial review
I first saw ET when I was a little boy. I fell instantly in love with this classic tale. This tale about this alien trying finding his way back home really hits home for me. E.T. is one of my favorite movies all time. It really had a very strong impact upon me as a child as I adored the sense of wonder this movie has about it with the charm of a child.
This is Steven Spielberg at his truly best as a director. It has a wonderful musical score by john William. This movie has elements about family and friendship and loyalty and its most of all about love that all connect to you. Steven Spielberg pulls off some legendary shots that are landmarks of movie history. Henry Thomas as Elliot really hits the ball home. He acts out one amazing performance upon the screen. Drew Barrymore is so cute throughout the whole film and she captures the audience every time she appears on screen. She gives out an amazing performance upon the screen.
The relationship between E.T. and Elliot can be marked as one of the greatest friendships in Hollywood history. They are friends to the end. The boy really does suffer due to this friendship which can hurt your heart at times. I truly adore the elements about the idea he truly is alien to our world discovering it with such glee that makes the magic of the moments he finds out things in the movie even more magical to watch upon the screen. This is a wonderful classic that reminds us being a child is okay sometimes.
ET truly is a wonderful classic you should see today as soon as you can today. This movie is simply a charming gem that is a must see for anyone anytime.
